In other news, there is a chance MELVILLE could become a TV show. Of course, that’s very tentative. I have a series and pilot treatment ready to go. SMAC Entertainment, headed by Michael Strahan and Constance Schwartz-Morini, are on board and WME is working with them to help make it happen.
But first, I have to do some more work on the pitch and find a show runner to help me develop it further. The show runner part is important, that person completes the package and makes the project worth picking up for development by a network (i.e. any company distributing TV shows, be it broadcast or digital.)
So, there’s a long way to go.
